You give Advantage+ a broad audience definition (e.g., ages 50-85 in your licensed states) and a creative pool (4-8 ads). Meta tests combinations and routes spend toward what works, faster than a human operator could.
Above $5,000/month in spend, manual structure with isolated audience tests starts to win because there's enough data per ad set to learn from. Below that, Advantage+ wins because the algorithm has more aggregate signal than any single ad set you could build.
