Partner access (in Meta Business Manager)
Partner access is the official way one Meta Business Manager grants another Business Manager limited rights to assets like ad accounts, pages, or pixels. FexAds and most legitimate FE ad agencies request partner access to your Business Manager, never your personal login or password.
Partner access is granted via Business Manager > Settings > Partners > Add. The agent enters the partner's Business Manager ID and selects which assets and what permission level (advertiser, analyst, admin) to share.
Partner access can be revoked in two clicks. The partner cannot transfer ownership of any asset. They cannot lock you out. The relationship is one-way and reversible.
Anyone asking for your personal Facebook password or for you to add them as a personal Business Manager admin (instead of as a partner) is doing it wrong. Decline and ask for partner access instead.
